The Last Word from John Moran: Solve the Problems That Make Your Customers Lose Sleep

After 37 years in sales positions at Welch Allyn, John Moran is retiring. "This is my fifth retirement—there's no re-entry clause," he joked.

"I've always felt very comfortable representing Welch Allyn," John told us recently. "That's why I stayed in sales my entire career. It just felt right."

It felt right to many others, as well. Over the years, John became known for building long-lasting relationships, which he says is a key to success.

"The medical sales industry has become more and more complicated as years go by," John noted. "Relationships are harder to build and maintain. But, they are still there and a driving force behind the business. A good rep needs to work really hard to keep and sustain good relationships."
