For Kevin Barrow of McKesson Medical-Surgical, the holidays came a little early. In December, Kevin learned he was the winner of the 2008 Welch Allyn For Leaders Only Chevy Camaro drawing — talk about a nice Christmas bonus!

Kevin described himself as one of the "silent winners": he didn't scream or run around flailing his arms — he was in complete disbelief. Thirty minutes after receiving the big phone call, Kevin called us back, looking for the pinch that would wake him up from this fantastic dream. "Are you serious?" he asked calmly, his state of shock still evident.

In spite of Kevin's sincere amazement at the announcement ("I just submitted my leads and did my job, he explained,) Kevin's reward was nevertheless well-deserved: the leads Kevin submitted throughout the year led to 18 demos, resulting in 13 wins for Welch Allyn. Kevin commented that Welch Allyn's excellent follow-up and communication are key factors in the program's success. "I'm grateful to Welch Allyn for its support and for the wonderful gift — and for making my family very happy," he added. Kevin resides in San Antonio with his wife and two kids.
